Letter to Judges
Dear Esteemed Judges,
Hello, my name is Zakariya Alem and I am an early graduate at Michigan Islamic Academy. I am a student who loves sports. I play basketball and soccer throughout the school year and that is why I decided to make my senior project about sports. It is a project detailing the effects of socioeconomic class in sports and how most people with less financial resources are put at a disadvantage in the types of programs they can afford. As a student I have learned how hard and how much work it takes to do research on one topic and stay focused on only that topic while researching. It was so easy for me to get sidetracked while researching and writing about my topic. Lastly, I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to evaluate the projects we have been working on as students throughout the year. I hope you enjoy my presentation and what I have to show you guys about my project. Sincerely, Zakariya Alem |
